Antiquities
In the antiques marketplace, those items classified as antiquities can be priceless – to the point where only museums or the very rich can afford to purchase them. In addition, the laws of different countries have evolved to the point where removing antiquities is illegal, and many countries are taking steps to have items that have been removed, returned. Those in legal possession of an antiquity, should have it appraised (by at least two reputable firms) and then have it insured. If the item is to be sold, and auction setting will bring the best price.
