The value of hockey trading cards follows the same pattern as other sports. Rookie cards of Hall of Fame players are the most desirable. The condition of the card plays a role as well. Ideally, the card should be in mint or near mint condition, to ensure the highest return. To protect cards, keep them in plastic sleeves in a dark place. Do not get the card autographed.
